Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon and Galaxy Media Chief Operating Officer Carrie Wojtaszek announce that the 31st season of Wegmans Lights on the Lake is scheduled to illuminate Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool, November 16–January 10, 2021 from 5-10pm, nightly.  Organizers also announced a new online, contactless ticketing platform for 2020.

“Once again Onondaga County is partnering with Galaxy Media to present the 31st season of Lights on the Lake,” said County Executive Ryan McMahon.  “This holiday tradition continues to grow and remain a favorite event for so many people. We appreciate the collaborative effort of the Parks Department and Galaxy to continuously improve the show and look forward to celebrating the 31st anniversary.”

The public-private partnership has allowed the continuation and growth of an already successful program. Sponsored by Wegmans, collaborative efforts like these have proven to be beneficial in creating exciting events in Onondaga County.

“Wegmans is proud to once again sponsor this family friendly holiday event,” said Evelyn Ingram, Director, Community Engagement at Wegmans Food Markets. “During the holiday season, this year in particular, it is gratifying to know we are providing an option for socially distant and safe entertainment to families across this region.”

"We are so proud to continue our partnership with Onondaga County,” said Carrie Wojtaszek, COO of Galaxy Media.  “This is a great family tradition that thousands from our community enjoy each and every year.  We know that people are looking for a safe way to celebrate the holidays and we are thrilled to be able to provide a safe option for families to enjoy.”
