Winter Photo Contest
The Parks Winter Photo Contest is back...with exciting news for 2021!!
The third annual event runs January 28-February 28, 2021 and is open to all photographers, ages 5 & up. NEW for 2021...Syracuse City Parks has joined the fun. That means photographers can submit photos taken in all open Onondaga County Parks AND Syracuse City Parks!!
The contest is FREE to enter with prizes awarded in five categories:
Best Action, Best Portrait, Best Winter Scene, Most Artistic & Junior Photographer (ages 5-17.)
Regular admission rates apply at all parks/locations.
Please note: Due to Covid-19, admission to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo is by reservation only. Click here for more information.

All photos submitted must be taken between January 28 - February 28, 2021. Photographers are limited to two final submissions. All photographers must follow current Covid-19 guidelines and wear a mask when unable to social distance.

Here is a look at the winners of the 2020 Winter Photo Contest!
Although we originally had 4 categories, Best Action, Best Winter Scene, Junior Photographer & Most Artistic, we had so many entries that were great portraits, we decided to add a fifth category, Best Portrait! Enjoy!
