Enjoy the national pastime in one of the finest AAA ballparks in America, Alliance Bank Stadium. The stadium is home to the Syracuse Chiefs and hosts dozens of community-use events annually. Hopkins Road Park is a six diamond complex featuring five tournament quality softball fields and a fenced baseball field. Onondaga Lake Park’s Parkside and Lakeside Fields host softball and kickball leagues.

The community’s finest men’s, women’s, and coed slowpitch softball leagues are based at Hopkins Road Park. The seven tournament quality fields (two lighted) can also be reserved for private use for individual games or weekend-long tournaments, and on the waterfront fields at Onondaga Lake Park. Alliance Bank Stadium can also be used for corporate softball outings and is the home to a Fall Slowpitch Power League involving the premier sluggers in Upstate New York.

Kickball

The nostalgia of kickball is enjoyed spring and summer weeknights in coed leagues at Onondaga Lake Park’s Parkside and Lakeside diamonds. Games are fast, everyone knows how to play, and the fun of being a kid again is priceless.

2010 Registration Information

Spring Leagues begin the week of April 19
Summer Leagues begin the week of July 5                                                                     Leagues are 8 weeks long

Returning Team Registration is January 25-February 19; Open Registration, for new teams, begins February 22. A registration fee of $225 will secure a teams spot in the league. Umpire fees of $12.50 per team, per game are collected by the umpire before the games begins.


 

                            Playing kickball

Spring and summer league games are played Monday- Friday at Onondaga Lake Park's Parkside and Lakeside Fields. Game times are 6pm or 7pm.

A Friday night league is played at Hopkins Road Park during the spring season. Those game times are at 8:20pm or 9:20pm.

All players must be at least 18 years old. Each team must have a minimum of 8 players (4 males and 4 females). A team may up to 11 players in the field at one time above the 4-male/4-female requirement. A team's roster can carry an unlimited number of players.
