McKinley West Shelter at Oneida Shores Park

Of the two McKinley Shelters, this one is more secluded, in the woods. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk from the McKinley shelters, use service road for access. There is no admission to enter this side of the park.

McKinley West Shelter at Oneida Shores Park

Shelter Size	32 ft. x 48 ft.
Tables	17 under shelter/6 outside. Sizes vary 6-10 ft. long x 30 in. wide.
Water	Drinking fountain and spigot
Grills	2 large BBQ grills (600 sq. in. each)
Food Trucks	Permitted on paved walkway or parking lot only. Permit from Emergency Management required. See picnic shelter regulations for information.
Restrooms	60 yards from shelter (shared with McKinley East shelter)
Electricity	Not Available
Recreational Areas	Softball field, volleyball court and horseshoe pit. Bounce Houses allowed, must provide own generator
Music	DJ or band allowed, must bring own generator
Tents	Tents are allowed but must be weighted, stakes are not allowed. Tents larger than 20' x20' require Park Superintendent approval. Permit from Emergency Management required. See picnic shelter regulations for information.
Parking	75 yards from shelter
Misc.	The fireplace at the shelter is decorative only, it is not for use.
