National Trails Day

Wednesday, May 30, 2018

Beaver Lake Nature Center will be celebrating National Trails Day on Saturday, June 2. National Trails Day was established in 1993 to promote public awareness and appreciation for America's trails.  Beaver Lake's 9 miles of winding trails are enjoyed throughout the seasons and feature a rich mix of habitats with the possibility of seeing more than 200 species of birds and over 200 varieties of plants. Ongoing events include a scavenger hunt, free trail bookmarks, a 9 am guided bird walk on the Three Meadows Trail, and a 2pm guided walk on the Woodland Trail.

Beaver Lake Nature Center, an Onondaga County Park, is located 3 miles west of Baldwinsville off of Route 370.  Admission is $5 per vehicle. For more information, click here or call the Nature Center at 315-638-2519.
