Canoeing & Kayaking - Daily thru Monday, September 6

Weekends, 9am - 4pm; Weekdays, 9am - 3:30pm

Enjoy a leisurely paddle on your own across Beaver Lake. Explore the lake's edge and search for beaver lodges, turtles, herons and osprey.

Canoe and solo kayak rentals are available, on a first-come basis, for $8 for the first hour, $2 for each additional half-hour.

Paddlers may bring their own canoe or kayak provided the vessel has been dry for at least 24 hours due to the risk of invasive species.

Beaver Lake reserves the right to cancel at any time and visitors should note that the lake will be closed during hazardous weather. All canoes and kayaks must be off the lake by 5pm.

Its winding trails are to be enjoyed in all seasons. The 200 acre glacial lake is a migratory stop for thousands of Canada geese that migrate through, as well as an opportunity for summertime exploration by canoe.
