Onondaga Lake Park
The Onondaga Lake Park Tram is electric and solar powered making for a comfortable, environmentally-friendly ride for all. The tram travels on the East Shore Recreational Trail which runs along the shoreline of Onondaga Lake. The tram operates Monday-Friday, the day after Memorial Day until the Friday before Columbus Day (except holidays) and departs from the Griffin Visitor Center at 9am, 10am, 11am & 12pm. Please note: The Tram will operate on a reduced schedule on Wednesday & Thursday, August 2 & 3 due to National Grid work on the trail. It will depart from the Griffin Visitor Center every 20 minutes beginning at 9am and turn around at the Hiawatha Point Tram Stop. We apologize for the inconvenience.
