Walks & Workouts

Get a taste of the Adirondacks right here in Central New York. Several hiking trails through the wooded, natural terrain range in length from .5 to 8.7 miles with part of North Country/Finger Lakes Trail passing through the park. - Onondaga Lake Park

Over 2.5 miles long and twenty feet wide, the paved East Shore Recreational Trail is ideal for in-line skating and bicycling. The paved Shoreline Walking Trail is designated for walkers and runners with distance markers along the route to help users maintain consistent mileage. Also paved, the two mile long John Haley Memorial West Shore Trail, is located on the scenic western, wooded shore of Onondaga Lake. Nearby, the stonedust and natural surfaces of the Lakeland Trail offers users a chance for solitude and observation. - Beaver Lake Nature Center
Over 9 miles of walking trails including the short Lakeview Trail, the Bog Trail on the elevated boardwalk and over the “soggy” floor, and the signature 3 mile Lake Loop. Daily 7:30 am-dusk- Weekend Guided Walks: Every Sat-Sun 2 pm

Enjoy a leisurely four mile (50 minute) round-trip ride on the East Shore Recreational Trail along picturesque Onondaga Lake.
