Wellness Walking Programs
Passport to Family Wellness
Onondaga County Parks and Wegmans invite you to explore a world of opportunities for outdoor activity and personal wellness.
As part of Wegmans commitment to help local residents improve their lives through health and wellness activities they created the popular Eat Well, Live Well Passport to Family Wellness program.
The "Passports" offer a fun "out of the box" idea—designed to encourage exploration of local park trails. The pocket-sized trail "passport" includes easy-to-read maps, trail descriptions and a space to make a trail marker rubbing.
As you hike the trails, you will find a trail marker on a post approximately halfway along.
The passport booklet is free*, click here to download and print a copy. You can also get a copy at your local Wegmans or pick one up at participating parks (books not available at Pratt's Falls Park): Beaver Lake Nature Center; Highland Forest; Jamesville Beach Park; Pratt's Falls Park; Onondaga Lake Park.
Once you have hiked at least 9 of our trails, bring the book to any participating park (except Pratt's Falls), you'll receive a reusable Wegmans Shopping Bag and to be entered in the Grand Prize drawing.

During your visit to Onondaga County Parks, you may be photographed, videotaped, or filmed by Onondaga County Parks or authorized parties. Your attendance/admission serves as permission for use of these images by Onondaga County Parks. Commercial photography or filming is prohibited without permission of Onondaga County Parks.
